How to install TATA Photon Whiz Model EC 121 in BOSS Linux

I am writing this mail requesting procedures for installing TATA Photon+ mobile broadband service (model no. EC 121) in BOSS Linux Tejas Version 3.0.

It would be grateful, if you send the solution at the earliest.

Thanks for the reply. There still some points I am not clear, So, I request you to clarify the same

3. Set the baud rate as


#setserial /dev/ttyS3 baud_base 230400 //you may need to install the package setserial


baud rate is different on the different versions of data card


Is setserial is a different package to be downloaded from distros or available in BOSS utilities disk?

Please clarify.


In the wvdial.conf there is an entry called “Baud”. Should need to change it to 230400
Please clarify

You can skip the 3rd step. I hope without that step itself you will get the net connected.

setserial is not available in utility.
